酸柑茶

來自苗栗縣的酸柑茶,是臺灣唯一的壓緊茶。據說在這裡的客家家人會將每年供奉在神桌上的酸柑挖出來後,混合茶葉塞回果皮中炭火烘焙,隨著時間的流逝,等待風味完美揉合後,在敲碎泡茶。

Bitter Orange Tea

The bitter orange tea is the only pressed tea in Miaoli County in Taiwan. According to legend, the Hakka people here would dig out the pulp of bitter orange that was enshrined to the gods. Then mix the tea with pule and stuff them back into the peel.And bake with charcoal fire. Slowly mature over time, waiting for the flavours to blend perfectly. Use a hammer to smash and make tea. The brewed tea presents a deep orange color and exudes a strong orange aroma. This is the best tea to entertain guests from afar
